I grew up on a southern Iowa farm and moved to Des Moines to study at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. Megan and I were married while I was in seminary and have been blessed with 4 children. After graduating in 2017, I became the pastor of Fellowship Baptist church. I couldn’t be more excited about what God is doing here in our community! |
I thank the Lord for leading us here to Fellowship! God has instilled in me a burden for families. I am a father of eight children of my own (one is in heaven) with two children that have double disabilities in sight and hearing. I understand the struggles of life but have also tasted the goodness of the Lord! I am passionate about equipping families with the tools they need to be the family they are called to be, to fulfill their God given purpose, resulting in joy, peace, love, and authentic worship. My prayer is that you will join us at Fellowship that you may taste the goodness of the Lord for yourself. |
A little more about our name ...
Fellowship
We lift each other up in prayer, encourage one another, and watch out for each other's needs and weaknesses. We are united in purpose and share a blessed camaraderie, a fellowship. Baptist - We are an independent, Baptist congregation partnering with a global network of like-minded churches called the GARBC. If you aren't sure what "Baptist" or "GARBC" means, you can read this helpful summary. You can read the doctrinal statement of our church here. Church- We are convinced that God’s plan for the world today is His Church. God’s plan for you today is active involvement in a local, Christ-exalting congregation where you receive encouragement, accountability, and fellowship. Will you join us? |
