​I grew up on a southern Iowa farm and moved to Des Moines to study at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. Megan and I were married while I was in seminary and have been blessed with 4 children. After graduating in 2017, I became the pastor of Fellowship Baptist church. I couldn’t be more excited about what God is doing here in our community! 

My vision is to see our church grow in love for God, one another, and those who don't know the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am passionate about helping people connect the text of God's Word to their daily lives through thoughtful, expositional preaching. I focused on counseling during my schooling years and would be happy to help you see how God's Word can bring you hope and direction for any issue you may be facing in life.  If I can pray for you, encourage you, or help you in any way, please feel free to call, email, or visit my office any time.

I thank the Lord for leading us here to Fellowship! God has instilled in me a burden for families. I am a father of eight children of my own (one is in heaven) with two children that have double disabilities in sight and hearing. I understand the struggles of life but have also tasted the goodness of the Lord! I am passionate about equipping families with the tools they need to be the family they are called to be, to fulfill their God given purpose, resulting in joy, peace, love, and authentic worship. My prayer is that you will join us at Fellowship that you may taste the goodness of the Lord for yourself.

Fellowship 
We lift each other up in prayer, encourage one another, and watch out for each other's needs and weaknesses. We are united in purpose and share a blessed camaraderie, a fellowship.
