Who We Are
Fellowship - We desire to live up to our name. We are believers in Jesus Christ who have committed together to pursue holiness and effective service until Christ returns. We lift each other up in prayer, encourage one another, and watch out for each others' needs and weaknesses. We are united in purpose and share a blessed camaraderie; a fellowship.
Baptist - We are an independent Baptist congregation partnering with a global network of like-minded churches called the GARBC. You can read their doctrinal statement here. Do you have more questions about our organization and beliefs? When you visit, request a free copy of our Covenant, Articles of Faith, and Constitution.
Church- We are convinced that God’s plan for the world today is His church. God’s plan for you today is active involvement in a local, Christ-exalting congregation. Will you join us?

Meet Our Pastor
Daniel Vance was called to Fellowship Baptist Church in April, 2017. Pastor Dan and his wife, Megan have two children.
Pastor Dan is a graduate of Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in Ankeny, IA and he is passionate about helping people connect the text of God's Word to their daily lives through practical, expositional preaching. He grew up on a southern Iowa farm and enjoys playing basketball and soccer, exploring the outdoors, drinking banana smoothies, and wrestling his energetic boys.
What is it like to be a guest?
We know that being new is hard. We don't give name-tags, call attention to you, or ask you to say anything. We want you to feel at home and we will even give you a thank-you bag on your way out!
What's A Service Like?
Our Sunday Morning worship service is the time when we put away the distractions of the week and take about an hour to focus on spiritual matters. The atmosphere is friendly and joyous. Prayers, quiet meditation, and public Scripture reading are a part of every service. Our church loves to give praise to God through a mix of new and old, songs and hymns.
Next, Pastor Dan will open up the Bible and help the congregation relate the timeless truths of God's Word to daily life now. In its pages, we find hope, inspiration, salvation, and comfort. You can listen to a past sermon here. We welcome you to bring any Bible you may have to follow along with the sermon. We provide copies (NKJV) in each pew if you prefer to follow along that way.
Sunday evenings are another great time to sing favorite hymns and hear a practical lesson from the Bible.
Our Wednesday service is devoted to prayer, friendship, and mutual support. We would love to connect you to one of our many small groups where you can engage in discipleship on a personal level.
What About Children?
Young children (through age 5) can be cared for by our attentive staff so that parents can give full attention to the meaningful content. While you worship, your children will play and learn in a safe and fun environment. Our Sunday School (9:30 am) is another great opportunity for children and adults of all ages to grow and learn.
What Should I Wear?
Fellowship is a diverse place that includes people from different walks of life and various types of dress; wear whatever you would like and you will not feel out of place.
What about Money?
It costs nothing to attend our church. We take an offering during our Sunday Services to allow our members to contribute to God's Work. We encourage visitors to simply enjoy the music that is played during this portion of the service.
